I am an undergraduate psychology student in Trinity College, Dublin (TCD). My interests tend towards macropsychological phenomena, so I’m interested in how individuals, communities and societies function.

Previously acting as chairperson of the TCD Meditation Society, I maintain an interest in the philosophy and science of religious beliefs, and am occasionally involved in the Humanist Association of Ireland (the HAI) as a member of the chaplaincy committee.

I’ve written articles for the University Times student newspaper at TCD, and also for the Humanism Ireland magazine co-published by HumaNI and the HAI. This blog acts as a kind of dumping ground for old pieces of writing, published or not, and receives only occasional attention.

I can be contacted through my Twitter page.

Oisin Carey.
